I can't believe I forgot about posting this blog entry after saying that I would!

Back to my Melbourne trip. Speaking of which, I haven't done the Sydney theolo one either! I don't think I will ever do that entry tho. Some things should remain unsaid.

It was a last minute decision to go to Melbourne actually. On a whim:) Makes life a little exciting doesn't it? And I get to stay with LULULISA+ANGGEEE+DANIELLU:) Super excited yet a little scared that I would be hell bored. And so I happily(anyway) city hopped over to Melbourne.

DAY 1: 18.01.2010
On the plane from Sydney to Melbourne.


Eeeew, dreary weather when I got there. And there was even hail before I arrived. Hello, it's summer. WHAT HAIL?! And it's cold... brrrrr... Thanks John for picking me up:)

I ordered something random from a Chinese restaurant but it has coconut in it. FAIL! In the end, I swap with John:) Food.. is ok.

DAY 2:19.01.2010

Out sightseeing with Lululisa, my tour guide! My first time on the tram. I know, I sound super country bumpkin:P

But nevertheless, who can resist CHOCOLATE???!!!


Then we went over to Chinatown where apparently the Korean hair salon is award winning.


I think they just screwed my fringe over. Sighs.


Then as Lisa has to go work, somebody else came to babysit me. Okie, actually just Bernice, Mel and her funny boyfriend, Nelson:) They look cute together!

We ended up hanging out at Mel's apartment since most shops are closing and we were waiting for the boys to meet us. It was hilarious when I met Lisa's new friends and they were like, you should go out clubbing with us and Lisa just said one sentence... 'erm, she is from my church.' Everyone went 'oooohhh' , like it explains everything:)


And because it's Bernice birthday dinner, I crashed the party:P Nam squashed at the back with us.


Evening came so quickly and it's one day in Melbourne!

Then we went to look for Lisa Lu at her workplace. Happy birthday, Ber!

Lisa still has to work so Nelson and Mel gave me a lift home. I LOVE NELSON'S CONVERTIBLE!!!!!! But I think my dad will kill me if I ever buy a Ford. My dad has this thing against European cars.


After I left, no one to hold onto the computer display screen so Nelson safety belt it!


DAY 3: 20.01.2010
Today, Lisa is gonna bring me shopping at Southern Cross DFO! Super fail though because we sleep so late every night approx 3am and thus wake up around noon. SOooo, by the time we get out, it's almost time for shops to close. Nevertheless, still can buy things:)

Super FAIL! We went late for baptism and made it BARELY for phototaking. Hang on, I think we missed that one too.

Back in the art gallery again. So much bigger than the one in Perth!


And then John and Ter picked me up and brought me to Doncaster shopping centre






It was Australia Day and we missed the fireworks. FAIL but we had a good dinner at TGIF but I got emo after that because I am leaving the next day:(

DAY 10: 26.01.2010

Then packing up and heading back to good old Perth. Thanks Stan for sending me to the airport:) Next time, I am gonna bring a bunch of people along so there can be more parties!
