Hi from Perth, Australia ♥ 1:30 AM
I’m still alive! I know I haven’t been blogging since I came over to Australia and I promised that I will blog often over here which is why I’m still awake at 1.30am NOW. I just opened the huge pink box today and Jan’s present after like staring at them for so long. The others, was not that messy so I opened it right after I reached Debbie’s home.
Actually, I’m a little surprised that I’m still alive because as you all know, I went for the Perth youth camp@Nanga Bush first. I honestly didn’t know that it will be THAT cold. I know its winter now but I didn’t expect it to be that frigging cold. Sorry that I keep on ranting and ranting about the cold but it's really cold ok! Thanks to all the people who lend me the blankets and offer me your jackets! I must also mention that the aunties who cooked for us, man, the food is like so so wonderful which is kinda the reason why I gained 2 kg after the camp. Still, it’s really fun and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I suppose I managed to mingle well with the Perth people:) Thank God for that. I’m too lazy to load the pictures now so you got to wait a while for them.
Ok, just one picture to show you that I’m really cold. Look at how fat I had become because I wore so many layers of clothes and that Nanga bush is really out of nowhere. Speaking of that, its so primitive that there’s no phone reception there so you can understand how bad is that.

Anyway, thank you for the all the efforts in trying to make me cry. See, I told you I already prep talked myself. I saw some reddened eyes though. But I didn’t want to notice cuz I might be affected by the crying bug and start crying myself. I LOVE all the gifts you guys give to me especially the cards. Darn, I was like tearing when I read the letters and saw the handmade gifts. Sometimes, a simple letter is all it takes to move a person. I don’t mean that I don’t appreciate the expensive gifts but it’s the personal touch you see. All I want to say is I didn’t expect so many people to come see me off and that itself was already a pleasant surprise and a good farewell gift. Not many people are willing to come all the way to Changi airport at 8am on a Sunday morning so thank you once again for just being there.
P.s: I’m sorry if I couldn’t like chat with every one of you at the airport, but we can still chat online=)
P.p.s: Yes, the earring holder is really useful, Keren! Now I don’t need to feel guilty about buying more earrings:)
P.p.p.s: Esther and RP, the pouch you gave me is too nice to be used as a pencil box la but no worries, I’ll put it to good use! Thanks for the alarm too!
