Exploring Down Under ♥ 5:47 PM

For the past one week, i had been checking out Perth with my parents and reading maps. Yes, who says women can't read maps huh? Oh well, maybe one or two wrong turns here and there but we still got to our destination in the end and besides, we got a scenic view of the place.

Oh, before i forget, these are the pictures taken at the Changi Airport before i head to Perth.

I remember that i took some pictures with some people using their camera so please please please send me the pictures either through MSN or email.

Ok, back to Perth. I went for a camp@Nanga Bush then after that went to look around this place. Places like Fremantle, Subiaco and Albany. Darn, i read the maps like textbooks. The good news is, at least now i can remember how to get around the place by CAR but the bad news is, i don't have a car.

17-20th of July: Nanga Bush for church camp. The place is so primitive that it says no service on the mobile phone. I think that if i died there, probably, nobody will know.

All you see is trees

Pr Chin came just for the camp so its pretty cool for the both of us to meet in Perth:)

On Saturday(22.07.2006), it's the day of rest so we went church for sabbath.

We had a choir presentation and since i was in the camp, i get to present too:) Erm, we only practise for less than 3 hours and i think we sang better then Sembawang. Sorry la, no offence but i think we can close shop le.. But also can't blame Semb coz our man power ain't that many. The video is too larger to load so if you really want to listen to it, ask for it from me on MSN.

Sunday(23.07.2006): I went to Subiaco Market and when we finished walking around the market in 2 hours(and along the way mum bought lots of stuff) Daddy decided to go Albany. For those who don't know Perth well, its a 4 hours drive to Perth City. We reached the place at night just in time for bed since everything except restaurants closes at 5pm. The place is nice though.

At the Subiaco Market, i chanced upon this while buying some beads. Chakra anyone?

At the wind farm.

For the benefit of those who never seen a wind farm before, i put it on video. See i'm so considerate:) I sound like i'm crying in the video but its just because its so cold that even my brains got frozen!

Along the way, we stopped by wineries, leather shops etc and helped the Perth's economy a bit*grin*

Tuesday(25.07.2006) was spent at Habour Town. Shopping RULES! Then after that, we went for dinner at some posh restaurant. I have a feeling i'm getting fat from all these rich food:(

Wednesday to Friday(26-28 July 2006): Orientation at Canning college. Total boredom but got to meet my class mates.. For those who ask me to look for an ang moh boyfriend over here, sorry ah, no ang mohs leh. Have to wait until i go University of Western Australia then probably have.

Oh, i went Fremantle torchlight prison tour on Thursday and man, was it freaking! I ain't going there any time soon. Thanks Bruce for letting me hide behind you during the Fremantle torchlight tour:)

Dad and mum left on Thursday and when they left, i felt alone suddenly. Wanted to cry but DIDN'T. Right now, is GOD and ME. Thank God for caring church members over here. Thanks Debbie for big a big sister to me, Big Ben for waking up at 8am just to send me to school on Thursday and all the others who made me feel like one of you guys here:)
