Tons of pictures from Thailand ♥ 3:31 PM

I still love my room the best. My bed is still the most comfortable because even Emmalyn(and the Aussies) can fall asleep on it in seconds so yeah, you gotta admit the fact.

I know i digress but i still LOVE my bed!

Anyway, I don't really know how to categorise my trip to Thailand. Leisure or helping out in church work? I went with my parents for sight-seeing then they flew back after 5 days and left me behind. The other 16 days, i tagged along with the full time church workers and Auntie Alice. But then, during these 16 days, there are some days when they bring me out for shopping or sight-seeing so what say you? By the way, its not as bad as i thought it would be although its a bit uncomfortable but its still livable. I"M A SURVIVOR!!!

Well, in case you still didn't know which part of Thailand i went, its Chiang Rai not Chiang Mai. The weather there was cool or cold depending on your tolerance level. For me, its great! I arrived there on the 3 of Jan 2006. When we(My parents and i) reached there after 5 hours of transit via Bangkok, it was already night and we have to walk to the airport.

Don't ask me who are the people in the picture, i have no idea. If you noticed, there's the plane in the background.

Auntie Alice, Uncle Yang and his wife, Auntie Eileen came to fetch us at the airport to our homestay. The place is really cozy and its cheap, like S$20 a day?

This is the room where we sleep

Our breakfast

Have you seen a tri coloured corn before?

Her daughter looks like a Chinese and she's very pretty. Her name is Tdom, pronounced as Tom. Somehow, we became friends although she's a few years older than me but i'm fine with that.

Anyway, we went to a lot of places for sight seeing before my parents went off.
We went to:

Showing you that idols are made by human hands... Why on earth do people want to worship something made by humans? As well worship the maker of the idol??? I don't mean to insult people who worship these things but can you please tell me why you worship them? I don't get it..

Then Saturday came along. The first time in my entire life where Sabbath service is cancelled. I felt so sad when the villagers in three different villages requested it just because they wanted to go for the Children's Day Funfair but i guess you can't blame them since that are like infants in Christ. So in the end we had our own Sabbath service in the church headquarters before we are went to the funfair to see what so special about it that the villagers are so willing to forsake Sabbath.

I managed to take a picture of a police man. He's so cute! He saw me wanting to take a picture of him so he posed for me. Too bad i didn't manage to capture him helping a little boy cross the road. So sweet!
