Congrats Serene! You just earned yourself a new nickname.
After our choir session, we meaning the Youths had to stay back to make the pop up cards for the Sun love Home people. Most of the guys didn't want to help so Eric say those doing it will get blessings.. but still they were not convinced to help out. They ought to be smacked!We are going to visit them on the 17th of this month and we are supposed to make 80 cards! That's like freaking many considering that one card takes about 15 minutes to make. The first one i made was so ugly since the stupid pen knife was blunt. I mentioned that whoever gets my card will be super sway(meaning: unlucky) then that auntie(Sis Yu Ting) keep on laughing her head off. Fresa suggested to auntie to ask her students to do the cards since she is a teacher. But somehow that plan was shoved aside since its not plausible.
Anyway, i kept on talking and accidentally cut a wrong line.. Argh! Of course, being a perfectionist me, i crushed that piece of paper which made Eric unhappy and when he is unhappy, he call me names like stupid girl. Fortunately for him, i'm a forgiving person so i forgave him. After a while, he got the guts to ask me to play the piano for him on Sunday evening's hymnal session after saying me! We argued for a some time because he claimed that i owe him one and i say he always bully me so we are even. But finally, i still have to say ok since he always say do God's work got blessings.*roll eyes*although its very true
Doing the cards was hard work so we went to Sembawang Shopping Centre to eat Pizza Hut. Apparently, the guys declare themselves broke so they didn't join us. We kinda of rushed through our dinner because i want to study and i don't want to waste my time. So, i ate pretty fast(amazing ya?)
Still, by the time we reached church, it was like 8pm already. Spent a few minutes settling down and Jan kee sarcastically said that he will know when i will settle down since I was making a hell of a noise which was hurting his delicate ears.
Well, i finished my maths homework at 10 pm ok! So i got at least did some work. I wanted to help out with the cards again but that Eric(yes! Him again) didn't want to let me. That's where the nickname comes in.
Jan: Hey! What's that Indian god name is ah? The one that destroys stuff.
Jonah or somebody: Er... Shiva is it?
Fresa: I thought that's a guy's name? My teacher is called Siva.
Me: No! Shiva sounds like a female's name!
Jan: Hmm... Shiva Serene, Serene Shiva. Quite nice!
Eric: Not bad leh.
Me: (Attempts to get a piece of the coloured paper) I want to help. Don't like that la.
Eric: Shiva(which is me) don't touch the paper!
After numerous futile attempts to help, I gave up. Honestly, i only wanted to help but whatever!Guess they are worried that i will make nicer cards than theirs... And ya, Fresa go and dig your ears... Its Shiva, not Siva!
Anyway, i can wan de qi(joke around) so i didn't start bawling like a baby or else you guys will be in deep trouble. Yeah, real deep trouble. So if her Royal Highness is not in a good mood which in this case i was, don't fool around with her or else...
