Probably the longest walk after Mt Kinabalu ♥ 4:27 PM

I probably i had my longest walk in my entire life at a little dot called Singapore. Even shopping would have taken a miserably pathetic 3rd place because my longest walk is in Sabah where i conquered the highest mountain (4,101 metres or 13,455 feet high) in South East Asia, Mt Kinabalu.

I was looking forward to my trip to the tree-top walk at MacRitchie since they advertised about it on The Straits Times some time back. It's a bit disappointing i must say. I didn't realise that the total length of the walkway is about 250m only! The total length of the trek was about 7 km with most of the time huffing and puffing, trying to walk up steep slopes and climbing up and down stairs. Although the height of the bridge from the forest floor varies, with the highest point at 25m, i would also appreciate that they make it longer. What i want is good quality nature not good quality bridge! I went to a tree top walk in Sabah which bridges are made out of ladders connected together. However, the walk is truly enjoyable because you can see birds and other unique things that you will not be able to see at ground zero. Besides that, you will NOT be interested to keep taking photos since the need to focus on keeping your belance is the main priority. When i got on the bridge, other then the hot sun, there is pretty much nothing to look at. Besides that, some idiots keep swaying the bridge. If you want that kind of fun, sorry sweeties but you are at the WRONG place! You are there because you want to admire nature. Don't be such a cheapo pay $2 and go to Sentosa where they have a bridge near the Siloso beach that is built for you to sway for all you want!

Anyway, after the less than 1 min on the bridge, Jon Kee claimed that we have to overcome 800 steps before we reached the Ranger Station so obviously, the very gung-ho me started to take count. I counted up to 360 steps before my brain could not really function well due to the lack of oxygen.

Come to think of it, i don't qualify this as a nature walk. I seemed to spent equal or probably more time on asphalt than on soil. Its was so damn hot when we started our walk that i bet my mouth exercised more than my legs. But still, i had to admit that during our walk, i spent more time bonding with my dear brothers and sisters.

Right now,Princess Serene is so tired that she have to take her royal nap.
