Meeting up with friends ♥ 3:07 PM
Despite the rain and my aching muscles yesterday, i was determined to meet up with my close friends from my secondary school. As usual, Rui Ping is the one who organised the dinner. I guess she really treasure her friends(not that i don't) and since we are close friends, we should meet up often to catch up with times.
Due to our hectic life, it is really very difficult to find a time to meet up therefore i was highly anticipating this dinner so much so that i couldn't concentrate on doing my long due hols homework. That stupid Rui Ping la! Called me at 3 plus... Well, our conversation went something like this:
RuiPing: Wei! Where are you?
Me: At home.. still got so much homework to do!
RuiPing: Come out to Orchard now leh.. Me just released from my school trip. Thought will end at 5 plus then just nice to meet you guys at 6. Wai Lao.. Then what can i do now?
Me: (sounded irritated because stuck at Qn5) Aiya! Call Esther la but i think she would be studying.Or try Aileen probably she ended lessons already.
RuiPing: Ya la.. Don't disturb you liao. See you later!
Me: Okie.. See you later!
Immediately after she called, my brain refused to solve the questions in front of me and i start seeing billboards flashing ORCHARD! Nah, just kidding! It's not that extreme but something like that. If it wasn't my homework, i would be at Orchard at 11 am, ready for my retail therapy! After trying to jumpstart my brains, i gave up and got ready for the dinner which explains why i'm on time for our meeting at 6pm.
I'm usually late but this time, it's Aileen Peh who is the latest since she needs to get some stuff from Takashimaya. Esther and Rui Ping decided to eat at Hans which is in Far East Plaza. I didn't even know that Han's even exist there! I had to walk around despite knowing the unit number! Finally found it and while waiting for the da pai(bigshot) Esther, Rui Ping and i chatted to catch up with times. At 7.15pm, Miss Peh FINALLY arrived! By that time, we had already gave up on waiting for her and had started on our soup.
By the way, if anybody needs tabloid(in simple terms: gossip), find Rui Ping and Aileen. Man! The two of them have news to last you for a year! Of course, i have none to share since i'm not that Bak Kua(gossip loving). Therefore, i always have to rely on both of them for news and since they are my friends, i gets news for free! Haha, unfortunate people gotta pay subscription fees.
Anyway, the western food is not bad but a little saltish for my delicate tastebuds. Esther claims that the Chinese food doesn't taste good. if anybody wants to eat there, the unit number is #3-26. Set Meals including soup, main course, dessert and drink starts from $8.90.
After dinner , we took some pictures especially of Rui Ping and me since she had her braces recently and i'm going to get them off next month! Since my camera is with my dad in america, i had to rely on Aileen's and Esther's camera. Both of them are off line so gotta wait for the pictures to be sent to me.
